SHARING JESUS WITH EMERGING GENERATIONS AND EQUIPPING YOUTH AS EVANGELISTS

Saturday, June 1, 2013 is the next School of Evangelism.  Again we are offering two classes in one  day, an 8.30-11.30 morning session and a 12.30-3.30 afternoon session.  Both classes will be held at the Eastern Regional Conference Office, 900 S. Arlington Ave. in Harrisburg.  Dr. Steve Dunn will be teaching both classes.SSJ

The morning class is Sharing Jesus with Emerging Generations.  People today believe truth is situational and relational.  They often reject the authoritative claims of the Bible if they even have any working knowledge of it.  Yet they are spiritually hungry and long for practical and caring ways to deal with their needs.  Steve will share the ten biblical ideas that speak to the hearts of emerging generations and ways to communicate those ideas in sharing the faith and preaching.

Equipping Youth as Evangelists is the afternoon class.  90% of people become Christians before the age 18. People who are effectively discipled while still teens are 5 times as likely to be a part of the church and its mission when they reach age 25. The most effective evangelists, especially among the youth generation are peer evangelists.  Dr. Steve will share what we need to know to equip and coach them as they share their faith.
