Saturday, June 2, 2012 Tammie Gitt and Steve Dunn taught the 2012 offering of our elective INTERNET EVANGELISM AND SOCIAL NETWORKING TOOLS.  Because of a variety of factors, come class time there was only one student on the scene Barb Lichtenberg Maurice.  Because of a snafu at the Church Center, Tammie, Steve and Barb retired to a nearby Panera’s, later moving on the TGIF’s, creating a mirror image of our rapidly changing world today.  This was Barb’s comment about the class posted on Facebook.

Barb is preparing for ordination with the Churches of God and is a 4th year student in the Pastoral Training Institute.

“I am a member of the ‘cusp’ generation – on the cusp of the computer age with a slight learning curve and decided to take the Internet Evangelism and Social Networking Tool session. After today I am in awe of all that is available for use in witnessing and discipleship technology-wise. Very, very good class. Highly recommend it! Informative. And it gave me tons of ideas concerning using communication tools. Thank you Stephen and Tammie.”

Three other students had registered for the class so we are considering offering it again later this year if these students are available and opening it to additional students.  If you are interested and couldn’t fit last Saturday into your schedule, contact Steve at  We will be making a decision about this very soon, so do not delay.
